Signe is Head of Public Affairs and Communications at Aldersgate Group, and is responsible for its public affairs and communications work, as well as leading on its work on nature, the Environment Act and supporting the team’s policy work on net zero emissions and international climate.

Signe has extensive experience of both the public sector and the private sector. Prior to joining Aldersgate Group, she worked at Southwark Council, leading on the local authority’s public affairs work related to among others environment, public health and housing. Before that, she worked at Weber Shandwick, a global public relations firms, working with clients ranging from food and drink and transport to social impact and healthcare.

Signe holds a Political Communications MSc (Distinction) and a Politics MA (First Class Honours) from the University of Glasgow, where she focused both of her degrees on the impact of digital technologies on political campaigning and advocacy. She is also a board member of the Broadway Initiative, and sits on the British Standards Institute’s Nature Investment Standard Strategic Advisory Group and on the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education’s Green Apprenticeships and Technical Education Advisory Panel.
