Kieron Stopforth is Head of Flexibility at Octopus Energy.
Kieron has deep experience in using technology to accelerate the clean transition. At Octopus, he leads a team launching and scaling new customer products that unlock intelligent demand from low carbon technology in the home, making energy cheaper for customers, using more renewables and supporting decarbonisation of energy grids. He has led transformational work in clean energy from negotiating the first energy storage tolling contract in the UK to launching a market-first joint venture with PCG Power in China.
Kieron’s previous roles include Bloomberg New Energy Finance, Google Deepmind, and AMS, a battery optimisation start-up in San Francisco acquired by Fluence. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Fulbright Scholar and Dias Fellow, and degrees in Physics and sustainable energy technology from Imperial College.”
