Beth is Head of Policy at Aldersgate Group and is responsible for developing and overseeing its policy work programme, working closely with the wider team. The policy work programme spans across energy and environment policy topics, including power systems, industrial decarbonisation, green finance, skills, resource efficiency and nature-related disclosures to name a few.
Before joining the Aldersgate Group, Beth worked as a Senior Programme Manager at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL). Beth supported the work of the UK Corporate Leaders Group, leading on their industrial decarbonisation and innovation work. While at CISL Beth also managed the Aviation Impact Accelerator, an initiative focused on accelerating the journey to sustainable flight by developing evidence-based tools and insights that support decision makers to drive forward the sector transition. Beth led on policymaker and business convening, alongside the management of the research team and industrial partners. Prior to this Beth worked as a Policy Officer for the Cambridge Cycling Campaign and Research Assistant for the Conservation Research Institute.
She holds a BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge and MSc in Environment and Sustainable Development from University College London.
