Placing nature on the board agenda – Aldersgate Group / ISEP webinar
Partnering with The Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals, we hosted an exciting and informative webinar, highlighting the value of nature to business operations and how this helps increase resilience and long-term value creation.
Nature is rapidly declining, but it is a business imperative. All businesses rely on the natural environment for clean air and water, healthy soils and biodiversity, either directly through their operations or through the safeguarding and wellbeing of staff. When nature declines, so too does operational resilience, supply-chain reliability, insurability and long-term value creation.
ISEP and Aldersgate Group have published a joint report, Placing Nature on the Board Agenda, underscoring this essential factor for business longevity. Launched on 2 June, this webinar delved into the report, discussed its findings and examined the overall issue from a cross-economy perspective, aiming to highlight how supporting nature will unlock economic growth, increase resilience and reduce risks.
