Tom is External Affairs Officer at the Aldersgate Group, working across the Group’s public affairs and communications activity. He supports engagement with parliamentarians, government departments, and the Group’s wider network of stakeholders, and helps ensure the Aldersgate Group’s policy work reaches and influences the right political audiences.

Before joining the Aldersgate Group, Tom was Public Affairs Officer at the charity Breast Cancer Now, where he delivered parliamentary events, party conference engagement, and targeted MP outreach, and led the secretariat for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Breast Cancer. Prior to this, Tom worked in local government as Political Assistant to the Opposition Group at Nottingham City Council.
He holds an MA in Global Security from Coventry University and a BA in Politics from the University of Nottingham.

Outside work, Tom is a long-suffering Coventry City fan and is a keen runner
