Toby is a Policy Officer at the Aldersgate Group with a focus on energy and green finance.

Toby’s background is in the real estate industry. He previously worked at real estate services firm CBRE where he led the sustainability research programme across the UK. The projects Toby led covered residential and commercial buildings, physical and transition climate risks and social and environmental sustainability. Ultimately, his work always aimed to demonstrate the business case and financial benefits of embracing sustainability initiatives. This is a goal that Toby takes into his work at the Aldersgate Group

Before this, Toby taught English in Spain where he picked up an enthusiasm for learning Spanish and a love of tortilla de patatas. Nowadays you can find him enjoying the parks and pubs of South London most weekends.
