1. Latest news

This month, the Aldersgate Group has continued to make the case for ambitious climate and environmental measures that drive economic growth and reinforce energy security. We published the briefing Making the Nature Restoration Fund Work for Business and the Environment’, examining the benefits of a strategic approach to nature restoration and how the new NRF could contribute to positive outcomes for nature and development. This briefing contains insights drawn from members and will form the basis of our engagement around planning reforms.

The Aldersgate Group hosted our Q4 Members’ Meeting, chaired by The Rt Hon. the Baroness May of Maidenhead, where we heard from Dr Deborah Petterson, Director of Resilience and Emergency Management at National Energy System Operator, and Baroness Brown, Chair of the CCC Adaptation sub-Committee.
