Kate previously led the Brexit campaign at the environmental NGO CHEM Trust, advocating to keep the UK aligned to EU environmental laws post-EU exit. Kate also previously worked as Head of Research for a political consultancy, campaigning on health policy for a range of patient groups and charities.

She has a degree in Biochemistry and experience in several multidisciplinary scientific research laboratories, and developed her German language skills whilst working for a start-up in Berlin.
