In October the AG hosted a parliamentary policy debate where stakeholders debated the Future of Narrative Reporting consultation. The panel was in full agreement that carbon reporting should be mandatory for businesses and discussed how long-term systemic risks should be reported in a more transparent way. In November, two AG members, WWF and The Co-operative Group, wrote an open letter Caroline Spelman (Secretary of State for Defra) which was published in the Financial Times. The letter was supported by the Aldersgate Group and many AG members also signed individually (click here).
