- Are you ready for the 2012 mandatory CO2 emissions reporting?
- Do report users believe in what you report?
- Do you know how to select your assurance provider?
Investor-led initiatives such as the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) or the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) are encouraging companies to increase the credibility of their data through independent third party assurance.
The Carbon Smart report: "Just off the starting blocks - Benchmarking sustainability and carbon assurance in the FTSE 350" revealed not only that there is little credibility in sustainability and carbon reporting but that there are significant concerns with the current assurance profession.
This follow up networking event will give you further insight on how to move towards a robust sustainability reporting system and how to score better in future benchmarking exercises.
The presentations will be followed by drinks and canapés. For more information about the research project please click here. To register, please send an email to: events@carbonsmart.co.uk or call 020 7940 8275.
The next one is 14th September, 6-9pm and will focus on sustainable business versus sustainable consumption: is a low consumption culture is at odds with business sustainability.
