THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY

21st June 2012

The AG held a panel debate on the circular economy, an economic model that aims to decouple growth from resource constraints through designing out waste by intention. A 2012 report by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, with analysis from McKinsey & Co, identified the circular economy could be worth between $340bn and $630bn per annum to the EU economy by 2025.
