The Aldersgate Group is a partner in the EU LIFE+ funded project REBus, working directly with businesses to develop their own resource efficient business models. Pilots from the project have already seen £4.89m in financial benefit. There is huge potential to scale up these benefits nationally. To reap these rewards, the UK needs to outline the future of its resource policy, which is currently based on EU Directives.

The event highlighted the Group's latest report findings and included contributions from a senior and multi sector business-led panel.

Panelists set out their views on how their organisation or business has tackled resource efficiency and what they require in a resource efficiency policy framework to enable the transition to happen at scale as the UK prepares to leave the EU.
